about the pattern
There are two separate blocks: camper and tree. There are four different shapes for the camper top to give variety to the design with different several striping patterns. Written instructions are provided for all pieces and there are charts for all but one (simple) shape. There are 13 figures to illustrate the construction. There is a help/tutorial video for all but the most simple steps, including: the entire Tree, and Camper: door, background pieces, window, tire and hitch. There is a link on the first page of the pattern to a webpage with these videos and all general technique videos applicable to this pattern.
The blanket is worked in garter stitch using a bit of intarsia (windows of the camper only), short rows and some pick up and knit. Blocks are sewn into horizontal strips and then sashing is worked between strips and joined with a 3-needle BO. Borders are picked up and knitted on the edges.
