Margaret is a knit designer who loves creating big things—especially graphic, boldly colored blankets. She coined the term “geometric knitting” to describe her signature construction style, which blends familiar (but rarely combined) techniques to produce blankets that burst with pattern, color, structure, and visual interest.

After dabbling in garment design, she turned her full attention to blankets. To her, they offer a true blank canvas—to explore color, shape, and composition while creating functional art that can be displayed and enjoyed in the home.

Alongside designing and writing patterns, Margaret creates educational YouTube videos to teach techniques and share practical tips and tricks to help knitters succeed.

She hosts a vibrant community of kindred knitters on Patreon. Join her there to see what she’s planning, gain early access to new patterns, and be part of an enthusiastic creative circle. You can enjoy her free content, or become a paid member to unlock more and support her work.
